Verimark is provided as-is, without warranty. By using it you agree that:

• You will not use Verimark to watermark content you don't have the right to modify.
• Verimark provides tamper-evidence (provenance), not encryption. For highly sensitive documents, also encrypt them separately.
• Verimark is not HIPAA-certified. Do not use it for medical records under HIPAA without additional safeguards.
• The maintainers are not liable for any damages arising from use of the tool.
